Results

Towngas sought to improve the safety and reliability of gas control systems in commercial kitchens. Traditional wired interlock systems can be complex to install and maintain, while single-frequency wireless solutions may be susceptible to interference.

We designed and engineered a sophisticated sPSI system that employs dual-frequency wireless communication for enhanced reliability. This system includes a transmitter and receiver that establish a robust connection between the pressure interlock control box and the gas solenoid valve control box.

It utilizes two transmission methods:

  1. Gas pipe transmission: Utilizing the gas pipeline network as a medium for wireless signal transmission.

  2. Over-the-air transmission: Employing wireless communication through the air. This dual-frequency approach, combined with bi-directional communication, significantly improves reliability and ensures prompt and accurate control of the gas solenoid valve.

The sPSI system enhances safety in commercial kitchens by providing a reliable and responsive wireless control solution for gas solenoid valves. The dual-frequency communication and bi-directional confirmation minimize the risk of communication failures, ensuring timely shut-off of gas supply in emergencies and preventing potential gas leaks.
