Towngas sought to enhance the functionality of Rinnai and Noritz water heaters by enabling remote control and smart home integration. This required a versatile and reliable CCU that could seamlessly connect to existing water heater models.
We designed and engineered a compact CCU specifically for Rinnai and Noritz water heaters. The device features a 4-pin terminal connector for easy installation and a magnetic mount for secure attachment to the water heater. The CCU utilizes robust communication protocols to ensure stable and reliable internet connectivity, enabling seamless remote control and monitoring of the water heater through Towngas's smart home platform.
The CCU empowers Towngas customers to remotely control their Rinnai and Noritz water heaters, adjusting settings, scheduling operations, and monitoring energy usage from their smartphones or other connected devices. This enhances convenience, energy efficiency, and overall user satisfaction.
